Recently, as I’ve watched our granddaughter learning to walk, I’ve had a delightful reminder of what the body of Christ needs to function well.  Each of my granddaughter’s steps could potentially lead to a fall as she learns to get her feet and legs and arms and body all moving the same direction at the same time.
If you think that learning to walk is tough, try to get a worldwide partnership of over 100 Navigator country ministries working together as we send and receive missionaries to and from various countries. Clearly this requires coordination led by the Holy Spirit.
The missionary leader Paul described what this requires when he said, “The whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.”  (Ephesians 4:16)
A body cannot work well without healthy joints and ligaments that are strong and flexible. Please pray that through us God will develop Navigator ligaments that are strong and flexible for enabling our missionaries to flourish in our calling.
