Introduction

March 7, 2026, is our Navigators Worldwide Day of Prayer—a sacred and significant time to come before God together as a global family. For over a decade, Navigators around the world have united in prayer on a Saturday in March, setting aside this day to seek the Lord, align our hearts with His purposes, and trust Him for what is ahead.

As we approach this time, let us not take this invitation lightly. International President Joe Maschhoff reminds us:

“Hebrews 4:16 urges us to draw near to the throne of God with confidence. Based on the finished work of Christ, we are welcomed to the Ultimate Throne. God is seated there and is inviting us to approach. I pray we all take His invitation as seriously as He does.”

One of our Core Values as Navigators is expectant faith and persevering prayer rooted in God’s promises. We come before Him, not in our own strength, but in full confidence that He hears us. As 1 John 5:14-15 assures us: “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him.”

This prayer guide is a resource to help us join in prayer for key requests from across our movement. You have the option to use the prayer guide sequentially, beginning with our Navigator Calling, Values, and Vision (The Core); then proceed to our global requests; followed by requests from each region (in alphabetical order). Alternatively, you may opt to navigate freely from section to section. However you decide to utilize this guide, may you experience profound fellowship with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Wherever you are, and however you engage, rest assured that you are joining others from all corners of the world before God’s throne. You are part of a worldwide chorus of voices calling on our Father, trusting that He will move in ways beyond what we can ask or imagine.

May God meet us powerfully on this day and in the days ahead.

To God be the glory!

Calling, Values, Vision

The Core

 Calling:

To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost.

 Values:

1) The passion to know, love, and become like Jesus Christ.

2) The truth and sufficiency of the Scriptures for the whole of life.

3) The transforming power of the Gospel.

4) The leading and empowering of the Holy Spirit.

5) Expectant faith and persevering prayer rooted in the promises of God.

6) The dignity and value of every person.

7) Love and grace expressed among us in community.

8) Families and relational networks in discipling the nations.

9) Interdependent relationships in the Body of Christ in advancing the Gospel.

Vision:

We see a vital movement of the Gospel, fueled by prevailing prayer, flowing freely through relational networks and out into the nations. Workers for the Kingdom are next door to everywhere! What characterizes this movement? A heart for the whole person . . . climates of grace . . . compassion for the vulnerable and broken . . . sacrificial unity embracing diversity . . . cultural relevance and sensitivity . . . interdependence with others in the wider family of God . . . transformed men and women, fragrant with humility and the aroma of Christ. They are marked by a deep engagement with and obedience to the Scriptures as the Word of God. They believe the promises of God. Both personally and in committed communities, they seek to know and pursue the purposes of God.

Laborers and leaders are emerging, with an increasing passion for Jesus Christ. They demonstrate faith and courage as they live and move among their friends and families. As spiritual parents, they model authenticity and relevance.

Ordinary people, in many walks of life, are joyfully leading integrated lives. They live as fruitful insiders among the lost. There is perseverance in the face of hardship and suffering. Around the world, many are coming to faith. As they become established in discipleship, some grow to be foundational for further generations. The Gospel spreads naturally and powerfully, as believers share Christ . . . life upon life . . . family to family.

Crossing cultures into new cities and nations, teams of mobile pioneers intentionally proclaim and embody the good news of Jesus Christ, in such a way that transformed communities multiply. These communities are bringing joy and hope to their surrounding environments as relationships are healed and justice increases. Indeed, the lost and unreached burn in their hearts, as they move the Gospel into the nations.

The leaders of this movement, developed and empowered for God’s service, live out a growing commitment to Christlikeness. They are dependent upon the Holy Spirit. New generations of leaders are emerging, rooted incarnationally in their local and national contexts. An international leadership community brings focus, alignment, and energy to their movement. These leaders are committed to long-term impact in generational ministry.

Global Prayer Themes

We invite you to pray over these common themes.

Global Prayer Themes

As we come together for the Worldwide Day of Prayer, we invite you to pray over these common themes that reflect the heart of our ministries across regions:

God Our Holy Center – Prayer, Word, and Fasting: Pray that every laborer and leader will deepen their intimacy with God through prayer, the study of His Word, and fasting. Ask that God will guide all ministry decisions and cultivate hearts fully centered on Him. (Matthew 6:33, Acts 14:23)

Thanksgiving for God’s Promises: “I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore…and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed…” (Genesis 22:17-18)

Next Generation Leaders: Pray for God to raise up, equip, and empower new leaders who will advance the Gospel with faithfulness and boldness. Pray for the equipping, training, and development of laborers and leaders willing to be sent to unreached and underreached nations. Pray for sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s leading in identifying and developing these leaders.

Pioneering, Discipleship & Gospel Movement: Pray for open doors as ministries expand into new countries, cities, and communities. Ask for the multiplication of disciples as the Gospel spreads through families, relational networks, and communities—especially in unreached and underreached areas. Pray for laborers to experience breakthroughs in reaching a new, younger generation. Pray also for staff to equip local believers to sow seeds of the Gospel, with God’s blessing, to reap a harvest. Pray that God will bring freedom and transformation to new believers in Jesus, and that they will be anchored in and have a hunger for His Word. For specific prayer requests for these laborers and ministries, please pray over the Missionary Sending Priorities document found at navigatorsworldwide.org/worldwide-missions

Local Communities of Laborers: Pray for communities of generational laborers in every city where we work. Ask God to strengthen existing communities and establish new ones, especially where disciples are isolated. Pray that these communities will share life together, embodying the Navigator Core and choosing expressions relevant to their culture. Pray for God to raise up local leaders and for deep investment in disciplemakers across cities, rural areas, churches, workplaces, and neighborhoods. Pray for resilient harvest workers equipped to navigate hardships while remaining focused on the Great Commission and the Greatest Commandment.

Leadership Transitions: Pray for wisdom and guidance for leaders stepping into new roles and for smooth transitions in national and regional leadership.

Challenges & Perseverance: Lift up those facing war, political instability, persecution, and cultural barriers. Pray for courage and resilience as they continue ministering in difficult circumstances. Pray for the growth of the Gospel and effective transformation among the poor, the weak, and the vulnerable communities worldwide. Pray for the raising up of new laborers for these challenging contexts.

Resources & Provision: Pray for financial provision, sustainable ministry models, and logistical support for upcoming gatherings and strategic initiatives.

Missions Sending Priorities

The following list presents the Navigator cross-cultural missions priorities —by region—as developed by the International Executive Team and Regional Directors of The Navigators. For purposes of security, some country names have been omitted.

Africa

Missionary Sending – 100 Missionaries to Priority Countries
Pray for the sending of 100 missionaries to 10 priority countries: Gambia, Benin Republic, Madagascar, Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Liberia, Eswatini, Lesotho, and others. Ask God to raise a ministry team for each country, consisting of a leader, three missionary couples, and four young people, deployed in phases. Pray that men and women will hear God’s call clearly and respond with obedience, passion, and urgency.  (Matthew 9:37-38, Isaiah 6:8, Romans 10:14-15)

To support the missionary sending goal, pray that God will bless the Operation $2 Initiative, a fund for training cross-cultural missionaries and undertaking mission survey trips. Pray for favor in partnerships and open doors with churches and businesses across Africa and beyond. (2 Corinthians 9:6-8, Proverbs 21:1)

Breaking Spiritual Strongholds
Pray for a spiritual breakthrough. Ask God to open hearts to the truth of Jesus Christ through dreams, visions, Scripture, and loving witness. Pray that fear, deception, and resistance will be replaced with spiritual hunger, and that new believers will be protected, discipled, and strengthened in their faith. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5, John 8:32, Acts 26:17-18, Isaiah 45:2-3)

Reaching the Unreached and Underreached
Pray for the light of Christ to penetrate every stronghold, worldview, and system opposing the knowledge of God. Ask for spiritual openness and lasting fruit: disciples who will disciple others and churches that will multiply in Africa. (Isaiah 60:1-3, 2 Corinthians 4:4-6,  Matthew 24:14)

Laborer and Leader Development, Mobilization, and Training

Pray for God to raise men, women, and couples willing to serve in new mission contexts. Ask Him to bring “men and women of peace” in each priority country to welcome missionaries. Pray for missionaries to be culturally humble, linguistically prepared, and spiritually equipped for long-term disciplemaking. Ask for smooth collaboration between sending countries and the Regional Missions Team, with strong sending and receiving policies that unite teams in spirit, mind, and purpose. (Philippians 2:13, Acts 18:1-3, 1 Corinthians 9:22, Acts 13:2-3, Jeremiah 29:7)

 Thanksgiving

  • Praise God for successful leadership transitions in six countries.

  • Give thanks for God’s faithfulness, guidance, and the unity, vision, and fellowship experienced at the All Africa Navigators Conference (IA-25) in April 2025. Praise Him for strengthening our faith to believe Him in using us to advance His mission across Africa, and for the wisdom, safety, and clear direction for the ongoing missions survey trips.

Asia Pacific

Key Passages for Asia Pacific

Please join us in praying over Isaiah 43:18-19, Isaiah 44:3-5, Hosea 14:9, and Revelation 7:9 as we lift up these requests and praises for our region.

Reaching the Mainstream with the Gospel

We thank God for many breakthroughs among the mainstream religions and secularized. Please pray for foundational generations of fruitful local communities of believers to be raised up. Ask for loving and healthy relationships to be cultivated among them. Pray for believers to be discipled, becoming faithful and active disciples of Jesus Christ. Ask that these communities of believers be equipped to share the Gospel as they meaningfully engage with those yet to believe. Pray for wisdom in providing the right ways to develop local leaders among the mainstream. (Hosea 14:9)

Cross-Cultural Mission Sending Priorities

Pray for the Lord to send cross-cultural workers for our four mission priorities:

South Asia: Would you join us in praying for cross-cultural laborers for South Asia? And consider if you yourself might be one of these strategic to the region? South Asia has the greatest concentration of humanity in the world (1.97 billion people) and the largest concentration of unreached and frontier people groups in the world.

Country #1  We thank God for the existing networks and relationships built over the past 20 years with locals. Through these, a few are in the Kingdom; and there are close friends and strategic partners in business. Pray for the Advisory Board to have wisdom and insight for the existing business and plans for the future. Ask for a new team with fresh ideas, especially on how to gain access to strengthen and follow through with current works.
Country #2  Pray for God’s leading for a couple who are praying about joining the current ministry team.

Southeast Asia: Pray for a couple to join the work, to lead community and campus ministries, and to train a younger couple for this work in a major city.

Fiji: Pray for a couple to provide leadership for the University of the South Pacific campus ministry. Pray they would also be able to train and equip a younger couple or single(s) to labor on campus with them.

Campus and Graduates Ministry Leaders Forum (July 2026)

Please pray for the Asia Pacific Campus and Graduates Ministry Leaders Forum to be held from July 16–19 for about 100 participants. Pray that the Lord uses this Forum to encourage, energize, and give vision to these leaders in their walk with Jesus and their ministries. Pray that the participants would learn from one another and together, and that relationships would be strengthened across the region and between countries. Ask for stronger ties between campus and grad ministries, resulting in the growth of more lifelong laborers while developing another generation of emerging leaders across AP as they grow in their understanding and application of The Core.

Eurasia

 Opening a New Country

  • Pioneering Teams: Pray for the team establishing a ministry presence in a new country. Ask God to send two additional couples to join them in this effort.

  • Logistics & Adjustment: Pray for creative "long-term access" strategies. Pray for the families as they learn a new language, navigate culture shock, and help their children adjust to new schools.

  • Foundations: Pray for divine connections with existing disciples and for God to prepare the hearts of the "foundational generation" of local believers.

 Realignments and Adaptation

  • Navigating Restrictions: Pray for protection as governments make it harder for cross-cultural workers to remain in these countries. Pray for wisdom to adapt ministry platforms to changing laws.

  • Leadership Transitions: Pray for empowerment and blessing for new leaders taking the helm in two specific countries.

  • The Harvest: Pray for God to "thrust out" new foreign workers to join existing teams in four countries across the region.

God’s Good Purposes Overcome Evil

  • Peace & Justice: As the Russia-Ukraine war enters its fifth year, pray for an end to the fighting, for the truth to be revealed, and for justice to be served. Pray for the resolution of broader regional tensions among several countries.

  • Healing: Pray for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing for all who have suffered.

  • Fruitfulness: Pray that Ukrainian and Russian laborers remain encouraged and fruitful despite the war. Pray for the "Mobile Alongsiders" as they provide strategic support – encouragement, resources, and timely connection.

 Spreading the Gospel

  • Relational Networks: Pray that the Gospel spreads through local disciples and laborers, among their families and friends.

  • The Next Generation: Pray for breakthroughs as national laborers reach out to younger people in Eurasia.

  • Deep Roots: Pray that new believers develop a genuine hunger for the Word and experience true freedom and transformation in Jesus.

 Local Communities of Laborers

  • Strengthening Fellowship: Pray for communities of disciples and laborers in every city. Ask God to connect those who feel isolated and to give them courage to identify with Christ.

  • Cultural Relevance: Pray that these communities embody our Core Values in ways that are authentic and relevant to their local cultures, without compromise.

  • Indigenous Leadership: Pray for the raising up of local leaders as nationals increasingly take the lead in directing the work within their own countries.

Europe

Navigator European Council

Pray for the Navigator European Council taking place in Prague, March 13-15. Ask the Lord to meet the participants as they gather around the theme Lessons from the Furnace. Pray that Christ’s presence would shape in them a posture of deep humility—acknowledging their need for Him and for one another—and courageous boldness rooted in His promises. Pray for wisdom as they focus on Local Laboring Communities, that these would develop and strengthen as vital places for engaging the lost and building the saved, and become part of a movement that flourishes and bears lasting fruit across Europe.

NextGen Development

Pray for God’s hand on the NextGen Cohort of 12 from across the region, as they gather for the first time March 8-11 in Prague. Ask the Lord to form committed, teachable emerging laborers and leaders with strong Navigator DNA. Pray that this initiative would help address the regionwide challenge of recruiting and developing younger generations of laborers and leaders, and that it would contribute to future generational movements across Europe.

Leadership Transitions

Pray that God would clearly lead and guide in upcoming leadership transitions across the region—in countries such as Germany and Sweden, and within the networks aimed at students and immigrants. Ask the Lord to grant wisdom and discernment to those involved in the recruiting and selection processes. Pray that those invited into leadership roles would sense the Lord’s calling, receive His courage, and step forward with faith and clarity.

Care Team

Pray for the newly launched Care Team as it seeks to serve staff and laborers across the region. Ask God to equip this Team to provide meaningful support. Pray that their care would strengthen resilience, provide encouragement, and sustain workers who are navigating ministry loads and the emotional demands of mission.

Mentoring Alongsider Initiative

Pray for the launch of the Mentoring Alongsider Initiative in Europe. Ask that the cohort of alongsiders can strengthen laborers, leaders, and ministries across Europe. Pray that their presence would bring encouragement, clarity, and renewed momentum in contexts ranging from pioneering works to established ministries, and that God would use this initiative to deepen Navigator DNA and foster sustainable generational growth throughout the region.

Latin America

The LAN World Cup of Scripture Memory

This is a regional Bible memorization program based on the Topical Memory System (TMS) and is designed to impact the younger generations of Navigators throughout Latin America. Teams of two or three people will represent their country and local community, accompanied by a coach, in a virtual tournament full of excitement, challenges, and faith!

The goal is to foster a love for God's Word, fellowship, and intentional discipleship across generations. We want a community that returns to the Scriptures, treasures them in their hearts, and shares them with joy, creativity, and excellence. (Psalm 119:97)

Mauricio Zamudio’s transition into representing LAN in the Worldwide Partnership

In September of last year, Mauricio Zamudio stepped into Roberto Blauth’s previous role to serve as the Latin American Regional Director. Here are some ways we can pray for Mauricio:

  • Intimacy with God and dependence on the Spirit: Pray that, amidst new responsibilities, Mauricio will seek the Lord first, hear His voice clearly, and be a humble and faithful instrument to fulfill God's purposes in Latin America.

  • Unity and love in the service team (LAN): Pray that the regional team will always walk in unity of faith and purpose—cultivating healthy relationships, deep collaboration, and a shared passion for making disciples.

  • Protection and strength for the family: Pray that Mauricio, Gabriela, and their children will experience this time with peace, joy, and balance, being strengthened as a family in their calling and kept safe in God's presence.

An initiative to identify, accompany, and establish the next generation of leaders

The LAN Leadership Development Program (PDL-LAN) is emerging as a strategic response to the need for developing the next generation of leaders in our region, integrating spiritual formation, contextual discernment, collaborative planning, and concrete action. (Psalm 78:72)

A greater movement of alongsiders in the region, especially to the initiating and developing countries

Join us in praying for the mature and experienced laborers in our region—that they would catch the vision of ministering to the needs of Navigator communities in other cities, stimulating the practice of sending and receiving within Latin America. (Romans 1:11-12)

New laborers to come alongside the work in Lima, Peru

Pray for a young couple with a heart to serve and a desire to be part of what God is doing in this vibrant, bustling city. A professional background in counseling, psychology, marketing, or business would be a plus, but not required. What matters most is a willingness to love people well, step into community, and grow alongside us.

A team of laborers to serve at ANAPO in Honduras

Seeking two couples or two singles who speak Spanish and are willing to grow in language skills. This is a unique and timely opportunity God has opened within the National Police Academy (ANAPO). There is a growing interest among both officers and cadets in intentional discipleship and in being equipped to make disciples within their own context.

Middle East and North Africa

Lift Up!

This year’s regional theme is “Lift Up!” Pray that, as Habakkuk 2:14 says, we would lift our eyes to see God’s glory and live in the confidence of His promise that the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord.

 Ministry Expansion

Pray for God to lead us into new cities and countries across the MENA region. Ask that He would open doors for relationships and new ministries with a shared vision to share the Gospel and make disciples.

Pray for God’s guidance as we pioneer ministries in four new countries where we have begun building connections. Pray that those connections will lead to fruitful ministries and that they would become equipped with the vision of The Navigators and join us in ministering to other locals.

 Next Generation

Pray for God’s provision, wisdom, and unity as we host an event in October with the goal of investing in and raising up the next generation of leaders in the MENA region. Ask that this gathering equips leaders and fosters meaningful connections.

Country Leadership

Pray for the newly appointed leadership team in one of our established countries. Ask God to grant them wisdom, unity, and spiritual strength as they step into this shared leadership role. Pray that He would guide their decisions, deepen their partnership, and equip them to faithfully serve and disciple others across the country.

North America

Canada

  • Pray that we would see thriving Nav20s ministries in several key cities across Canada, particularly in Vancouver, Calgary, and Ottawa.

  • We are praying for three new gifted leaders to help shepherd the growing movement of students on university campuses.

  • Ask for clarity as our Operations Team works in collaboration with our other leadership teams to establish a clear structure and process to respond to projects that continue to support the growth we are seeing in the ministry.

  • Pray for our Global Stream's collaboration with Campus Ministries and Local Ministries to explore and identify new short-term sending opportunities for students and everyday disciplemakers in 2027.

  • Ask for wisdom in developing a diaspora ministry among the Afghan refugees in British Columbia.

 Caribbean

  • Pray for scope and depth of growth in ministries across the region as staff and local laborers develop in commitment to Christ’s kingdom, disciplemaking, and furthering faith objectives.

  • Pray for effective and sustainable campus ministries in Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, and the Dominican Republic.

  • Pray for peace to prevail in three of our countries. Some local and US staff have had to evacuate or relocate because of civil unrest and/or military threats.

  • Pray for wisdom and unity for the leadership team overseeing the region. Pray that the team would help to direct local leaders to walk by faith and grow as servant-leaders in their contexts.

 United States

  • Gratitude for God’s Promises, Provision, and Faithfulness—Give thanks with us for God’s enduring faithfulness across generations of disciplemakers in the U.S. work and out into the nations. (Genesis 22:18)

  • Pioneering and Gospel Movements Through Everyday Disciplemakers—Pray for open doors and pioneering boldness as our ministries expand into new communities, networks, and contexts throughout the U.S. (Acts 2:47)

  • Inclusive and Impactful Kingdom Culture—Pray for the continued formation of a kingdom culture throughout our Navigators community marked by love, humility, and unity across the U.S. work. Pray that our shared life together would reflect the character of Christ and serve as a credible witness to the Gospel among diverse people and contexts. (John 13:35)

  • Leadership Development, Perseverance, and Provision–Pray for wisdom, discernment, and clarity for leaders stepping into new roles and for smooth transitions across the U.S. ministry. Pray for God’s provision—financially, structurally, and relationally—so that the work may continue with sustainability, faithfulness, and long-term fruitfulness.  (Galatians 6:9)
